Simple Weber Cedar Planked Salmon

Ingredients
  • 1 Salmon fillet(1.5-2lbs. and about one inch thick)
  • 1 Tblsp. lemon zest(zest of 1 lemon)
  • 2 sprigs fresh dill
  • 1 tspn salt
  • 1tspn Cayenne pepper
  • lemon wedges
Instructions
  1. Immerse a Just Smoked Salmon Western Cedar grilling plank in water for at least one hour.
  2. Brush olive oil lightly over top surface of Cedar plank. Place salmon fillet skin side down on top of plank.
  3. Sprinkle the lemon zest, dill, salt, and pepper evenly over the fillet.
  4. Place the planked salmon in the center of the cooking grate an inch or two over white charcoals.
  5. Grill for 25 to 30 minutes or until the salmon is opaque
  6. in the center and the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with the wedges. Perfect for a party of 4!
